Turn the Page Children's Reading Center in Emmaus, PA is a one of a kind, creative and interactive learning environment designed to tutor as well as teach children how to engage in text and develop a lifelong love of reading. We take pride in our unique interactive approach to enriching and remediating reading skills. All programs consist of hands on, creative, and fun activities to promote the love of reading! Our tutors, tutoring programs and reading programs foster educational development, academic success, build confidence and cultivate a life long passion for reading!
Turn the Page Children's Reading Center offers various reading programs, tutoring and reading assessments. All sessions are focused on individual needs. No over reliance on computer programs and the utmost emphasis on success and confidence building. From furnishings and wall color, to our reading tools, our overall approach is to associate the act of reading with pleasure and fun!

We are currently servicing children from various School Districts including East Penn, Parkland, Salisbury, Allentown, Bethlehem, Saucon Valley, Quakertown, Brandywine, Kutztown, Whitehall, Southern Lehigh and Perkiomen. We are also currently servicing home schooled children from the Lehigh Valley including the towns of Macungie, Emmaus, Allentown, Bethlehem, Whitehall, Hellertown, Quakertown, Kutztown and Center Valley.
Methodology
The reading tutor will start with a thorough reading assessment using three of the most proficient assessment approaches used by the U.S. Educational system as well as a “learning style” assessment. The "learning style" assessment allows the reading tutor to understand how the student learns and teach in a manner that engages the child and encourages them to associate learning with an interactive, pleasurable activity. We employ a blend of the most effective “learn to read” strategies and use the same reading assessment tools found in your children's’ schools.
